Douglas Motorsport are pleased to announce that Jamie Chadwick will race with team in the 2018 BRDC British F3 Championship.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a competitive season in BRDC British F3 in 2017, finishing a creditable ninth overall in the final standings, and scoring a podium at Rockingham.
In her first season in single seater racing, Chadwick showed constant top-10 pace, with other strong results including a fifth on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, sixth at the majestic Spa Francorchamps, and seventh place finishes at Snetterton and Donington Park.
Looking to build on her career so far, which includes title glory in the 2015 British GT Championship (GT4) and podiums in the Ginetta Junior Championship, Chadwick is now looking to mount a title challenge in her second season in the BRDC British F3 Championship.
Chadwick commented: “It was always my wish to complete a second year in British F3, and I am delighted to be teaming up with Douglas Motorsport for this year’s campaign. I have a great team behind me, so I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running at Oulton Park and starting our title attack.”
Team Principal Wayne Douglas: “After following Jamie’s progress through the junior formulas including winning a British Championship, it is a pleasure to have her join the team. This week we start an intensive test programme and intend to be fully up to speed and running at the front for the first round at Oulton Park.”
